5-13-98 WASHINGTON (Rooters) – An M.S. Court of Appeals sided with Microsoft Corp. on Tuesday overruling a decision made last year by a lower court. The appellate court order will put an end to any further State or Justice Department suits that may be in the works.
The three-judge appellate panel went on to say that purchasing Windows 98 not only stimulates our economy, but “is an affirmation of our patriotism and loyalty to this country” and that opposition to Microsoft is un-American and “shall be punishable by death.”
Further work will be done this week to amend the MS Constitution to protect every citizen’s right to bear the MS logo, and to attend the new MSCE College opening this month on the site of the former Stanford University.
