Automated Electronics Unlimited of Bedford Falls, New Hampshire has announced in a site news email that they have elected to switch to green trash bags in an effort to reduce their carbon footprint, and environmental impact. This move was praised by most of the location’s 430 employees as a sign that management really is aware of the concerns of the common worker.
“I think it’s great that management has taken such swift action on this hot topic” said Mui Quan, of Human Resources, “It’s about time we begin to take global warming seriously”
Outside at the smoking booth, however, the consensus was that management has entirely missed the point.
“green only means environmentally friendly when there are quotation marks around it, otherwise it’s just a color.” explained Calvin Hepsubah, “In other words, we didn’t switch to “green” garbage bags, we just switched to green garbage bags. I mean how stupid are these people?”
