Stupidopolis Site News #2

Posted on April 8, 2008 by fred

Hello again!  This is Fred the editor in chief here at Stupidopolis, and I have some exciting news!  We have added a “Random Post” section which you can see in the middle sidebar, just below “Recent Posts”.  The “Random Post” section will feature one random post selected from our archives each time the page is loaded.  Currently, not including this newsletter, we are sitting at 64 posts, of which only two or three of the newest get read each day, so our hope is that this will promote interest in our older posts.

Excuse me a moment.  Guys, I am very disappointed that the FlikR section is still there!  I told you either start using FlikR, or delete that section from the sidebar!  This always happens!  It never goes smoothly, and I am sick of being embarrassed all the time by your mistakes!  Not only that, but the Google search is only working for web searches, not Stupidopolis searches.   I don’t know what you guys are doing.  I think we need to have more meetings to discuss the status of these updates, and to keep your priorities fresh in your mind.

Anyway, in the left sidebar, below the ad banner is a google subscription icon for those of you who use Google Reader, or who have a Google homepage.  This will allow you to receive a feed of the latest articles on your Google page, and to share them with your google friends.

Fred, ed

The FlikR section still doesn’t work. Delete it! Fine, I’ll do it myself.

Do you mean advertising on people’s butts, and having them moon other people, or the more difficult writing of advertisements on the surface of the moon? Because we could do either, I’m just not sure which would be more effective, but apparently nobody is taking Moon-based advertising seriously… Stay Tuned!
